What did I tell you?
Bummer! A poor horse loses the greatest race of his career because his owner gave him an inadequate name. He he had been Silver Stud or something . . anything else he would have trotted into horse history. But alas, he is just another also ran.

Belmont
The great question of today is of course, can Smarty Jones win the Belmont Stakes. The answer to that is of course a resounding No!!
Why not you say. Easy . . bad, no wait, very bad name. The Gods of The Sport of Kings simply will not allow it. The ghost of Secretariat alone will never let it happen. If Man Of War was championed and supported due to patriotism and secretariat by the secretaries of the world who will champion Smarty Jones, the smartalecks of the world. I don't think so. By the way, I don't care if it's owner is a Civil War vet no horse with a name like this should ever will a Triple Crown. I cry foul!
